It’s that day again, Monday!
And let me tell ya, I do not mind one bit!
Why, you ask?
Because of this:
Now I know exactly why they are called SMOOTHies….
That smoothie may not look like much- but, it’s much!
Hint: It’s green!
And no, it’s not spinach!
Rymes with “mavocado” –
Yep, that’s right! There’s avocado in this baby!
I have been reading a few blogs that have posted smoothie recipes with avocado in them, and I decided that I just had to try it for myself!
In the mix:
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbs coconut flour
- 1/2 of a small avocado
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 scoop almond milk yogurt
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
And blend away!
What took it over the top was:
The blueberry muffin i crumbled over the top.
I highly recommend trying avocado in your smoothie if you haven’t!
Avocados are filled with healthy fats (which are highly benefecial!) And boat loads of potassium! (more than bananas!)
Plus they taste delicious…
You can EVEN put them on your face!
And let me tell you all, I thoroughly enjoy putting food on my face!
And in my tummy, of course!
